How often are advanced therapies given?
Some medications may have something called starter doses.
A starter dose helps get you to the right medication levels from the beginning.
These first doses may be given more often and/or at a higher dose.
All advanced therapies have maintenance doses.
A maintenance dose is the regular, ongoing treatment that helps keep the medication working in your body. This is needed to help treat your symptoms.
How often these doses are given will depend on the medication.
