Who is this for?

This could be the first treatment given to someone like you with specific EGFR  mutations in their cancer cells.

It may also be considered if you do not respond well to treatment. It may also be given if your cancer comes back.

How does targeted therapy work?

There are different types of targeted therapies. These are called EGFR inhibitors, angiogenesis inhibitors, and targeted antibodies.

Each type of treatment works differently. But each focuses on killing cancer cells while doing less damage to normal cells.
